Culturally, I have heard that Dutch people lacked any form of a sense of humor. As a result, I have often wondered how I would adjust to this type of environment... until I stumbled across this video (Ok... I didn't actually "stumble" across it - it was referred to me). To my surprise, this Dutch talk show host reacts precisely the same way I would have in this situation! There is something uncontrollably funny about this guests high pitch voice. Call me mean, insensitive, or childish... thats fine, but above all, I'm glad to see that I might just get along with these people after all!

Because of the squeaky voice... every time this guy starts talking the host starts cracking up!

OK... This guy (the guest) has a squeaky, high pitched voice, which is funny...but you shouldn't laugh at him. WHY??? because it's rude to laugh about someones flaws, especially right in there face. However every time he (the guests) starts to talk, the host cant help but laugh at him (thats just plain funny). The host is trying to hold it back, as not to offend, but obviously cant do it!

I have seen this before and it's really funny, however it's not true. They're all actors.

i'm not dutch, but i recently went to a dutch comedian in london. er, i'm not sure what his name was, but i think he was pretty famous in holland.. maybe something like hans?
